Claire Smyth is the owner and the inspiration behind Northern Ireland’s Don't forget the Dog. Having worked in corporate industry for over 20 years it was time to make a change and follow a passion that is close to her heart, man’s best friend.
She decided it was time to create some quality luxury dog accessories such as bandanas, dicky bows in rich tweeds we then very quickly ventured into collars and leads.
Claire’s designs them herself and are inspired by the rural Irish landscape. Tweeds stand up well against our weather and have a lovely traditional classic appearance.
Claire was always looking for nice high-quality products and struggled often to find nice collars and accessories for her own dogs. She wanted to bring some local luxury dog products to market, something a little superior, well made and with a touch of class.
